Brecon and Radnorshire has benefitted from a total of £6.1 million in funding from The National Lottery Community Fund.
Beneficiaries include the Llangorse Public Institute who received £45,543 for renovating the village playground, and £99,760 for Age Cymru Powys to deliver a Later Life MOT for people aged 65+ in Powys, supporting the most deprived, vulnerable, and frail.
In an event at the Senedd, National Lottery hosted an event with Senedd Members and individuals who had received funding through a variety of grants.
The National Lottery Community Fund distributes over £600m a year to communities across the UK, raised by players of The National Lottery.
MS for Brecon and Radnorshire James Evans: “It’s great to see so much money from the National Lottery going to great causes across Brecon and Radnorshire.
“This cash makes a real difference, and there are countless people in our area who have benefitted.
