On Monday, 4 August, Brecon Mountain Rescue Team were called out to an incident in the Mynydd Llangorse area to assist a casualty who had fallen from a horse and sustained an injury.

The casualty was evacuated from the area by Maritime and Coastguard Agency Rescue187 to Llangorse common, where they were transferred into the care of Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust and taken to hospital.

Two days earlier on Saturday, 2 August, the team were called to an injured walker in the Pen y Fan area who had a lower leg injury. Supported by Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team, the casualty was treated on scene and then carried off the hill by stretcher where they were transported to hospital by a member of their party.
