New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to six of Powys’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to two restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: The Wild Oak Cafe at Compton Yard, 12 Great Oak Street, Llanidloes, Powys; rated on December 9

• Rated 5: Themes Restaurant at Coleg Powys, Llanidloes Road, Newtown, Powys; rated on December 4

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And three ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: Llandrindod Wells Golf Club Bar at Llandrindod Wells Golf Club, Golf Links Road, Llandrindod Wells, Powys; rated on December 7

• Rated 5: Bridge End Hotel at Bell Street, Talgarth, Brecon Powys; rated on November 27

• Rated 4: Pheasant Inn at 43 High Street, Welshpool, Powys; rated on November 4
