The Animal and Rescue crew and Machynlleth Fire & Rescue Station attended an incident yesterday evening (Wednesday, August 9) which saw a calf stuck in water.

The calf was trapped in the water for several hours.

With help from Builth Wells and Llandrindod Wells Fire Stations, the calf was rescued from the water.

The calf was then returned to its mother.

A spokesperson from Machynlleth Fire & Rescue Station said: "Big thanks to Builth Wells and Llandrindod Wells Fire Stations, utilising their Water First Responder skills, alongside the animal rescue team utilising their equipment and returning the trapped calf back to his eagerly awaiting mother."
