Cantorion Llandrindod delivered its annual spring concert at the weekend, performing to a well-attended and appreciative audience.

The choir, which was shortlisted for the 2026 Royal Philharmonic Society Inspiration Awards, staged its programme under the title “Can You Feel the Love...” featuring a wide range of musical genres.

This year’s concert included four premieres, with two of the composers in attendance. The choir said it was determined to do the new works justice, and the audience response suggested a strong appreciation across the programme, with several pieces proving immediate favourites despite being heard for the first time.

It was a great achievement from all involved – composers, musical director, accompanist and singers.
