Slimming World members across Powys have donated 638 bags of clothing and raised £15,950 for Cancer Research UK through this year’s Big Slimming World Clothes Throw.
Donations came from groups across the county, with members contributing clothes they no longer needed after achieving weight loss as part of their Slimming World journeys.
Organisers said the campaign is about more than clearing out wardrobes, with each bag reflecting progress made by members, as well as changes in confidence and health.
The initiative, held annually, supports Cancer Research UK and has become a regular feature in the Slimming World calendar, with local groups in Powys taking part again this year.
Consultants thanked members for their continued support, saying the response highlighted the sense of community within groups.
