A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Rhayader man who failed to attend court to answer four motoring offences.
Anthony Mead, 65, of Nant Rhyd Hir, was due to appear before Llandrindod Wells Justice Centre on September 29.
He is accused of driving a Volkswagen Polo on the B4358 at Llanafanfawr, near Builth Wells, on March 17 with levels of THC and benzoylecgonine in his blood above the legal limits.
The alleged THC level was 6.3 micrograms per litre of blood, against a legal limit of 2 micrograms.
The alleged level of benzoylecgonine, a metabolite of cocaine, was 183 micrograms per litre, against a limit of 50 micrograms.
Mead is also accused of using the vehicle without a valid test certificate.
The fourth charge alleges the vehicle was in a dangerous condition, with a cracked windscreen, broken windscreen wipers and two tyres below the legal tread depth.
Mead did not attend the September 29 hearing and a warrant for his arrest without bail was issued.
