CROWDS lined the streets and even lay-bys to catch a glimpse of the world's top cyclists racing through Powys.
However there was disappointment after it was announced Britain's Olympic champion and Tour de France winner, Bradley Wiggins had been forced to withdraw from the Welsh Stage of the Tour of Britain.
That news however failed to deter enthusiasts from turning out on Friday, September 14 along the 118 mile route from Welshpool Castle to Caerphilly Castle, that took in a sprint stage in Llandrindod Wells town centre.
