TALGARTH’S New Inn are the proud winners of this year' Channel 4 competition, Four in a bed.

The TV show follows four B&Bs who are set to compete against each other throughout the show.

The filming took place in October last year when Damon Lewis was the landlord of the pub.

Damon said: "It was a surreal experience and I really enjoyed it. It was great getting to meet other people in the industry. It was a real learning curve actually."

The B&Bs that were involved all judged each other on various aspects of their B&B. The other B&Bs in this year's competition were from Hampshire, Northamptonshire and Llanafan.

Damon said: "The best bit was getting to see what other people have to offer in terms of skills and entertainment. It was also interesting to see people in all different walks of life."

The series was shown last week and in the final episode, the New Inn was revealed as this year's winner.

Since the filming took place Damon Lewis has left the New Inn and the new landlord is Glen Rice.
