Powys Council is once again very pleased to hear of the many learners who have achieved the results that they needed to make progress to university or to apprenticeships or into new employment, and wishes to send warmest congratulations to them.
Councillor Phyl Davies said “This has been a very challenging and unsettling year for all of our learners across Wales, and as a local authority we think especially today of those who have received their results for A levels, BTEC and other courses, and are delighted to hear the stories of success from around Powys.”
“While we warmly congratulate those who are delighted with what they have achieved, we will also be supporting schools as they support those who might be disappointed, especially in those situations where they believe that the impact of the pandemic has affected their outcomes. We are in touch with each of our schools to ensure that we have a coordinated means of supporting them.”
