Crickhowell High School were delighted to welcome children from four local primary schools – Llanbedr, Crickhowell, Llangattock and Llangynidr – to take part in a day of fun they had planned for them during their Welsh Baccalaureate lessons.

The Year 10 students delivered the enjoyable and informative sessions to the primary school pupils as part of their Community Challenge, an essential element of the Welsh Bacc award. These sessions included volleyball, rounders, rugby, football, assault courses, languages, drama, dance, and even classes about mechanics, along with various craft lessons.

All involved had two fantastic days and it was lovely to see the whole community brought together – as well as the fact students were exceptionally attentive and helpful.

The high school would like to thank the primary schools for coming forward to the Welsh Baccalaureate Days and look forward to the next time.
