This year’s programme reads like a who’s who of contemporary thought. Among the headliners speakers are: Jeremy Corbyn, a leading voice of the political Left and tireless activist; Slavoj Žižek, cultural theorist and master provocateur, award-winning director Martha Fiennes; Wikipedia’s founder Jimmy Wales; former Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams; and Minna Salami, internationally acclaimed feminist thinker and author.

Every Spring Bank Holiday it welcomes a lineup of world-leading thinkers in philosophy, politics, science and the arts to its beautiful Hay-on-Wye festival site on the banks of the River Wye.
