Businesses have a final chance to sponsor this year’s Pontfaen YFC Illuminated Charity Tractor and 4x4 Run, which takes place on Tuesday, December 23.

Sponsorship costs £50 and includes a printed company logo attached to a vehicle for the duration of the run, along with social media promotion. Anyone wishing to sponsor must email [email protected] by Tuesday, December 9 to allow time for signage to be produced.

This year’s run will raise money for Wales Air Ambulance and The Brain Tumour Charity. In addition, Pontfaen YFC will donate £500 each to the paediatric wards at Merthyr, Hereford and Carmarthen hospitals, as well as Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital. A portion of the proceeds will also support the club’s own activities.

Pontfaen YFC’s illuminated runs have become a popular festive fixture, raising more than £25,300 for good causes over the past four years. Previous beneficiaries have included Macmillan Cancer Support, the DPJ Foundation, Prostate Cymru, Velindre Cancer Centre and Brecon Mountain Rescue Team.
