Camping and caravan website Campsites.co.uk has announced its top picks for this year’s ‘150 Outstanding Sites’ - and four from Brecon and Radnorshire have successfully made the cut.
The list has been revealed just in time for the school summer holidays, with experts narrowing down thousands of locations from their website in order to make their final decision.
The annual list highlights the very best camping, glamping, and touring sites across the UK, celebrating those who offer their campers a reliably great holiday.
Among those named was Cwmdu Campsite, near Crickhowell, which had the honour of taking home the award for Best Campsite Mid Wales at the 2024 Camping and Glamping Awards.
Visitors have been extremely supportive of the site. Not only has Cwmdu received a 4.86 out of 5 star rating on campsites.co.uk, but 98 per cent of reviewers said that they would definitely recommend it to others.
Two sites near Brecon also made in onto the 150-strong list.
Lakeside Caravan Park, near Llangorse Lake, achieved a 4.83 rating, with 99 per cent of reviewers recommending it.
Bryndu Caravan and Camping, near Llandefalle, has a 4.89 rating, with 100 per cent of reviewers giving it their recommendation.
Also included on the list was Llandrindod Wells’ Spring Rock Fishery and Caravan Park, which is based in Llandegley. It has a 4.82 rating on the website, with 98 per cent recommending it.
Martin Smith, founder of Campsites.co.uk said: “I'm really pleased to launch our list of Outstanding Sites for 2025. Every one of these sites is a trusted favourite with our audience and a great choice for your break this summer."
