Free electric blanket testing will take place at multiple Powys fire stations in the coming week, to taste the safety of the blankets.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service are inviting locals to bring along their electric blankets to test their safety; failed blankets will be destroyed by having the flex removed.

Testing is taking place at Brecon Fire Station on Friday, 24 October and at Llandrindod Fire Station on Monday, 27 October. Both sessions will take place between 10am and 1pm.
