Residents still have time to have their say on the future of Brecon’s disused phone boxes.
Brecon Town Council is asking people to share ideas for how the old boxes could be brought back into community use. Suggestions include mini libraries, defibrillator sites, green spaces, art displays and community noticeboards.
The council is also keen to hear from local groups or organisations interested in adopting and maintaining a phone box for community projects.
Views gathered through the consultation will help decide which boxes could be adopted and how they could best serve the town.
The consultation remains open until June 26. Paper copies are available from the Guildhall and Visit Brecon office, or take part via the council’s website.
