JAMIE Evans emerged as the hero as Builth Wells Reserves captured the Builth Spa Cup with a dramatic 3-1 penalty shootout victory over Presteigne Reserves.
The Builth goalkeeper was the star of the show on Sunday, May 1, making three penalty saves after two evenly matched teams had been locked together at 3-3 following extra time.
After a pulsating first half had ended 2-2, the second period failed to live up to expectation and it was not until the extra period that the day's real drama unfolded.
