A social event held in Hundred House has raised £3,000 for a Welsh rural mental health charity.

The event was organised by the Hundred House Improvement Society and held at the Hundred House Inn at the beginning of August, with thanks given to landlord Ben Shearer for hosting.

Guests enjoyed a hog roast and live music from Fundelwarp and the Lampshade Catchers during the evening.

Proceeds from the event were donated to the DPJ Foundation, a Welsh mental health charity supporting people living and working in rural communities.

The cheque was presented to Jess from the DPJ Foundation by Hundred House Show chairman Andrew Bevan at the Hundred House Show on Saturday, September 5.
