Visitors heading into Bannau Brycheiniog National Park this weekend are being urged to plan ahead, with exceptionally high numbers expected around Pen y Fan.
The warning comes ahead of the 10yFan challenge, a mass endurance event which will see around 300 walkers attempt to summit Pen y Fan 10 times within 24 hours between Saturday and Sunday (May 9-10).
The challenge is expected to draw large crowds of participants, support crews and spectators.
As a result, the Pont ar Daf car park is expected to remain full throughout the weekend, with little to no parking availability for general visitors.
Walkers are also being encouraged to explore quieter parts of the national park, which offers a wide range of walking routes away from the busiest peaks. These include more secluded valley walks and less well-known ridge paths.
