Two Instagram-famous golden retrievers are inviting dog owners to join them for a free mountain walk in Bannau Brycheiniog this coming Saturday.
Fredrick and Royston, who have been named ambassadors for outdoor retailer Mountain Warehouse, will lead the walk alongside their owner Hannah as part of the company's Great British Walkies campaign.
The walk will take place between 10am and 1pm, starting from Llangyndir and following a route through the National Park.
The route is expected to cover between 5km and 9km across relatively flat mountain terrain.
Fredrick and Royston have been testing dog-friendly walks across Wales for Mountain Warehouse's new Great British Walkies Guide, which rates routes on factors including water access, views, opportunities to play and the availability of sticks.
The pair, which have more than 222,000 followers on Instragram, awarded the Llangyndir route three paws, while Usk Reservoir received four paws and the Black Mountain was given the top five-paw rating.
The campaign aims to encourage dog owners to explore the outdoors and discover new walking routes with their pets.
The event is free, but places are limited to just 20 and must be booked in advance. Attendees will be sent an exact meeting point.
Tickets are available through Eventbrite.
