Local insurer’s support for YFCs helps build community resilience

NFU Mutual Agents and their staff at the local Builth Wells agency recently nominated two local YFCs to receive donations

Brecknock Young Farmers Club and Radnor Young Farmers Club, received donations of £3,189.50 each from NFU Mutual’s national £1.92million ‘Agency Giving Fund’.

The leading rural insurer has launched this fund, now in its third year, to help local frontline charities across the country. The Agency Giving Fund forms part of NFU Mutual’s £3.25m funding pledge for both local and national charities in 2022, to help tackle the ongoing effects of the pandemic and assist with recovery.

To ensure these donations reach all corners of the UK and are directed where they’re needed most, NFU Mutual’s Agents, with over 295 offices nationwide, have been given the opportunity to nominate local charities to receive a share of the fund.

The two donations have enabled Brecknock Young Farmers Club and Radnor Young Farmers Club to receive support as they emerge from the pandemic. The support given by the NFU Mutual will be invaluable in rebuilding the Federation and helping to support the members across the two Counties.

We in the Builth Wells office are extremely proud to have nominated Brecknock Young Farmers Club and Radnor Young Farmers Club to receive the two donations and are delighted to be able to support the vital contribution they make to our community.”

Delyth Powell, County Organiser Radnor Young Farmers Club, said: “Radnor Young Farmers Club are extremely grateful to all the staff at the Builth Wells branch of the NFU Mutual for their support for the Federation.

“Their generous donation will help to fund the programme of events throughout the year and help with the cost of running the Office which provides invaluable support for the members across the Federation.”
