The A470 remains closed after a lorry overturned between Rhayader and Llangurig this morning.

Dyfed-Powys Police said the incident was reported at around 7:45am. Emergency services are at the scene while the lorry is recovered. No injuries have been reported.

Crews from Rhayader and Llandrindod Wells fire stations attended. One occupant was already out of the vehicle when firefighters arrived and was handed over to the ambulance service

The lorry overturned between the Marteg and Rhayader, where the road remains closed in both directions.

Drivers are being advised to avoid the area.
