Business consultation on Powys budget opens
Powys businesses are being offered a chance to comment on the county council revenue budget for the coming financial year.
The county council is inviting businesses to comment on the 2021/2022 revenue budget as part of an online consultation exercise.
Cabinet Member for Finance, Councillor Aled Davies (pictured) said: “The budget is important for business throughout the county and by providing an opportunity for businesses to express their views online everyone has the same opportunity to comment no matter where they are based.”

Goods vehicle centre bid for Builth Wells firm
Z. Gittoes Concreting Ltd of School House Rhosgoch, Builth Wells, is applying for a licence to use a building next to School House, Rhosgoch, Builth Wells, as an operating centre for a goods vehicle.
Licence would allow online sales for Hay business
Powys County Council to consider an application from Dean Williams for a licence to allow the sale of alcohol for premises at 46, Lion Street, Hay-on-Wye.
The 24 hour licence would allow the business to sell online outside ther regular 10am-4.30pm opening hours.
Application for goods vehicle yard at sawmill site
Robert Boxhall trading as RB Plant Training Ltd of Watson Cottage, Bronllys, Brecon, Powys, LD3 0LT is applying for a licence to use a lot at, The Old Sawmills, Eardisley in Herefordshire, as an operating centre to keep two goods vehicles
