Morrisons stores across Brecon and Radnorshire have launched an initiative to help feed its shoppers amid the cost of living crisis.

The move comes as part of a nationwide scheme to help support its shoppers who are struggling to feed themselves and their families this half-term.

The supermarket is now urging its customers to ‘Ask for Henry’ at their local Morrisons cafe, where they will then receive a warming and hearty jacket potato with baked beans.

A Morrisons spokesperson said: “We know that our customers are under real financial pressure at the moment and are therefore pleased to be partnering with Heinz on its ‘Ask for Henry’ initiative to offer customers a free jacket potato topped with Beans.”

The initiative will run from October 26 - November 6, 2022.

It is said that the inspiration behind the name comes from Morrisons’ founder, Henry Heinz, the man who is behind the national favourite, Heinz beans.

The offer is good for one free meal per day, and cannot be supplemented for cash.
