BRECON and Radnorshire MP Chris Davies visited the Royal Mail sorting office in Brecon on Friday.

He was shown around the depot by manager Neal Gardner who introduced Chris to members of staff.

Chris heard from the staff how busy they had been in the run up to Christmas, with huge numbers of parcels being delivered by the dedicated team in Brecon.

Mr Davies said: “It was great to visit the Royal Mail depot on the Brecon industrial estate. I visited the office last year and I am always treated extremely well by the management team and staff.

All of their work is much appreciated by the people of Brecon and Radnorshire, especially at this time of year when people are sending gifts and Christmas cards to loved ones across the world.

“I even had the pleasure of presenting Arwel Gardner with his birthday cake and wishing him all the best for his upcoming retirement! I look forward to visiting the team in Brecon again next year, they are a great group of people and always make me feel so welcome”.
