The Tractor Enthusiasts of Nantmel have donated a total of £620 to two local charities following their recent annual Tractor Run event.
Held on Sunday, July 6, the popular 30-mile route attracted 40 participants from across the region, including enthusiasts from Kidwelly, Newcastle Emlyn, Bridgnorth, Cleobury Mortimer, and Hereford. The scenic tour wound through the picturesque parishes and communities of Nantmel, St Harmon, Abbeycwmhir, Gwystre, Nant Glas, Doldowlod, and Llanyre, before returning to Nantmel.
The proceeds from the event were split equally between the Rhayader Leg Club and the Rhayader branch of Cancer Research UK. John Bates, the event’s route planner, presented £310 to Ffion Corfield, Lead Nurse at the Rhayader Leg Club, and an identical amount to Liz Lewis of Cancer Research UK’s Rhayader branch.

The Tractor Enthusiasts of Nantmel extended thanks to the landowners for the use of their land, the businesses that donated prizes, and all the volunteers and participants who contributed to the day.
