New car park? Parking ban? Or something completely different at the National Park

Brecon Beacons National Park has teased a potential announcement by uploading a cryptic cover photo to their Facebook page.

The National Park has updated their cover photo to a black screen - teasing the date 17.04.2023 - this coming Monday.

Facebook users in the comments section of the post have questioned what could be significant about the date and speculated about a potential announcement.

Some have suggested that a new car park may be opening, or bans on roadside parking could be introduced.

Others have jokingly asked if Pen y Fan is closing and one individual has suggested that the April 17 tease could be a reveal for the date marking the end of the world.

Replying to one user, The Brecon Beacons National Park admin has said: "All will be revealed on Monday 17th April."
