A VISION is to be unveiled at a meeting next week for a health and well-being park at the hospital site in Bronllys.

Proposals which include eco-friendly affordable homes, an energy farm, shops, market gardening, safe cycle ways and woodland military walk as well as a rich cultural and social life with music, book club, poetry readings and art.

The 75 acre underused site will include a number of radical health care proposals and is being backed by Councillor Jacqui Wilding who hopes the project will make Bronllys the centre of excellence and get the ball rolling for Wales.

At the meeting to be held on Thursday, October 23 at Hay-on-Wye Primary School, starting at 7.30pm will give locals a chance to see the unique park vision for the future and the Well Being action group will provide updated plans.
