Dyfed-Powys Police has launched an appeal for information after a three-vehicle collision on the A40 between at Scethrog near Brecon on Tuesday, 4 August.
The crash occurred at approximately 4.35pm and involved a Grey BMW 1 series, a White Mercedes EQA and a Yellow Ford Transit.
The 18-year-old male BMW driver was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He has since been released pending further enquiries.
Two passengers in the Mercedes were taken to hospital by air ambulance with life threatening injuries.
The drivers of the Mercedes and Ford were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Dyfed-Powys Police released the following statement, appealing for witnesses: “Officers are appealing for anyone with information that could help officers with their investigation or anyone who was travelling along the road at the relevant time with dashcam footage is asked to report it to Dyfed-Powys Police.”
