A man from Penybont has marked his 90th birthday by raising hundreds of pounds for charity.
Ray Price celebrated the milestone with family and friends at the Severn Arms Hotel, where a cheque for £700 was presented to Brian Tolley, a representative of the Wales Air Ambulance.
Mr Price asked for donations in place of gifts, choosing to support the service that helped save his life 15 years ago. He was airlifted from Llandrindod Wells to Wolverhampton in just 25 minutes after suffering a heart attack.
He said he remains grateful to the Wales Air Ambulance for the care he received and was pleased to give something back through his birthday celebrations. He also thanked everyone who made donations.
