A local photographer has raised £260 for Brecon Mountain Rescue Team after producing and selling a charity calendar featuring scenes from across Wales.
Zoe Mathias created the calendar using her own photography, showcasing landscapes and wildlife from around the country. The project proved popular with the local community, with all 130 copies selling out.
£2 from every calendar sold was donated to the volunteer rescue team, bringing the total raised to £260.

Brecon Mountain Rescue Team is a 100 per cent volunteer-led emergency service providing search, rescue and medical assistance across the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park and mid Wales.
The team is on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, responding to incidents across around 700 square miles, including mountain and water rescues, as well as searches for missing or vulnerable people in remote or hard-to-reach areas.
It receives no external funding and relies entirely on public donations, with annual running costs of around £65,000 met through community support.
Speaking about the calendar project, Zoe said she wanted to combine her passion for photography with the chance to support an organisation that plays a vital role in keeping people safe outdoors.
This is the fourth year she has produced a charity calendar, with strong backing once again from the local community.

In a social media post, the team thanked her for her efforts, saying: “We have some wonderful supporters who raise essential funds for our voluntary search and rescue team. This can range from clubs, organisations, businesses and many individual members of the public.
“Zoe Mathias is one such supporter and being a local amateur photographer produced a splendid calendar to raise funds for us. Her great efforts resulted in donating the proceeds of sales, amounting to £260.
“Thank you Zoe for this brilliant support.”
