Maendu Street in Brecon is set to close temporarily while gas mains replacement work is carried out.

Powys County Council has announced the temporary road closure on U0722 Maendu Street, Brecon, from October 19 to October 26.

The closure is needed to allow gas mains replacement works to take place.

Alternative routes will be signposted where applicable, with the closure remaining in place until the work is completed.

Motorists and other road users are advised to allow extra time for their journeys while the work is taking place.
