A police officer from the Swansea Valley has denied three counts of making indecent images of children.
Patrick Higgins, 30, who is a Gwent Police officer from Ystalyfera, is accused of accessing indecent images and films of children under 18, including some classified as Category A, the most serious level.
At Newport Crown Court on Monday, Higgins pleaded guilty to three counts of unauthorised access to police data between June 2023 and August 2024.
He pleaded not guilty to three counts of making indecent images of children.
He is set to go on trial on the indecent images charges on October 19, 2026.
