A man is wanted by police after he failed to appear at court in connection with a number thefts and burglaries.

Dyfed-Powys Police are appealing for information over the whereabouts of Michael Kenneth Evans who was summonsed to court for burglaries and quad bike thefts in south Powys.

The 34-year-old, whose last known address was Gurnos Road in Merthyr Tydfil and who has links to the Gwent area, is also wanted on recall to prison.

A force spokesman said: "He was on licence from prison, and as a result of these charges, his licence has been revoked by the probation service and he is wanted on a recall to prison.

"Anyone with information that could help officers with their investigation is asked to report it to Dyfed-Powys Police."
