A BRECONSHIRE mother has been caught up in the devastating double explosion that hit the Boston Marathon this week.
Terrorists have been blamed for the blasts, which occurred close to the race's finish line in the centre of the city, located on the United States of America's east coast.
Nikki Mills, from Llaneglwys, between Brecon and Builth Wells, was competing in the marathon and The Brecon & Radnor Express has been told that she was about a mile from the finishing line when the bombs went off 10 seconds apart.
We were contacted by Jan Mills, Nikki's mother-in-law, who told us that her son and Nikki's husband Chris was a spectator at the race along with his uncle John, who were sat in a stand on the opposite side of the road to where the first bomb went off, propelling bystanders into scaffolding and shop windows.
