Powys County Council is asking residents to return any unused community equipment, including walking frames, wheelchairs, beds, and chairs – even if they carry an old NRS Healthcare sticker.

The items can be recycled and reused to help others stay safe and independent at home, while saving money and reducing waste.

Cllr Sian Cox, Cabinet Member for a Caring Powys, said: “Returning equipment helps others in our community and supports our commitment to sustainability and responsible resource use.

“Please check your homes and help us spread the word.”

Collection can be arranged for items by calling Millbrook Healthcare on 0345 123 6350 or dropped off at Unit 64, Mochdre Industrial Estate, Newtown, SY16 4LE, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.
