POWYS tennis stars from both on and off the court have featured prominently in the 2011 Tennis Wales Awards.

Rising Builth Wells tennis talent Shain Lewis was honoured in the ceremony at the Cardiff City Stadium on Friday, October 7, with an Outstanding Achievement Award.

Shain, 19, has enjoyed a remarkable year including representing Great Britain in the World Summer Special Olympics games in Athens.
