AS Powys Arts Month draws to a close next week, Welsh medium TV channel S4C visited Mid Wales on Friday, October 21 to meet some of the artists taking part.

Over 80 Powys based painters, poets, performers, sculptors, silversmiths, musicians, media artists and arts practitioners have been involved in the month long festival.

S4C presenter Rhodri Darcy visited At Home With Baaah! In Llanddew near Brecon prior to their open studio event last weekend.

Baaah! artist Nigel Evans, said: "Art is very important in Powys. There are literally hundreds of artists trying to make a living here. The countryside seems to attract culture and the number artists coming to live in Powys is expanding daily."
