THE organiser of Plethiad festival is putting out an appeal for a Brecon venue to stage the Saturday night of the three day festival.

The Klezmer and Balkan live music weekend event which takes place from Friday, May 31 to Sunday, June 2 will involve performances at Theatr Brycheiniog, The George Hotel, The Lounge and The Hours Cafe and Bookshop.

But Plethiad organiser Peter Phillips tells The Brecon & Radnor Express: "We need one more Brecon venue to take the plunge and come on board with us. I've got a brilliant Gypsy Balkan three piece lined up for the Saturday night but no venue."
