An internationally acclaimed travelling theatre company will bring its enchanting performances back to Presteigne next month.
The spellbinding Swiss duo ‘Nicole et Martin‘ will pitch their iconic white tent on Wents Meadow for a week of unforgettable storytelling.
From Saturday, June 14 to Thursday, June 19 the husband-and-wife team will perform a series of classic folk tales brought vividly to life with their trademark mix of physical theatre, circus skills, live music, and breathtaking acrobatics - all under their elegant, purpose-built tent, which seats up to 350 people.

Hailed by The Times as “opulent in imagination and wonderful spectacle,” Nicole et Martin have been captivating audiences across Europe since 1999. In their 26-year career, they have performed more than 3,400 shows in over 700 venues and 16 countries, presenting their work in eight different languages.
This will be the pair’s fifth visit to Presteigne, having last brought their magic to Wents Meadow in 2022.
Their visit will feature four different stories: ‘The Fisherman and His Wife’ on Saturday, June 14 at 5pm, ‘Wassilissa‘ on Sunday, June 15 at 3pm, ‘The Girl without Hands’ on Wednesday, June 18 at 5pm, and ‘The Musicians of Bremen’ on Thursday, June 19 at 5pm.
Each show is suitable for audiences aged five and above, with something to delight children, teenagers and adults alike. The performances blend the charm of fairy tales with the thrill of circus, making them a true family experience.
