Celebrity Alan Carr was seen filming a TV programme yesterday (Wednesday, August 27) in Hay-on-Wye.
Locals spotted the camera crew and Carr, who was dressed as a book worm as a comedic nod to the book town.
Many gathered to watch him perform a piece to camera. In a video obtained by on-looker Sarah Newman, Carr can be heard saying to camera: “I’m thrilled to be here in Hay-on-Wye, and as it’s famous for literature, I told the wardrobe department to make me look really book-wormish... but I think they’ve taken it a tad too far!
“Right I’m off to see the designers. That sparrow is licking his lips.” He then hopped out of shot.

Some believe he may have been filming a news series of the BBC programme Interior Design Masters with Alan Carr, which he presents alongside interiors guru Michelle Ogundehin.

In the series, 10 talented designers battle it out over a range of interior design tasks in order to achieve one life changing contract.
