As part of the Llandrindod Wells Victorian Festival, the local Town Council presented a Vintage and Classic Vehicle Display at the Powys County Council Car Park in which more than 60 vehicles participated. During the day they processed through the town while a vintage Midland Red bus carried people free of charge to and from the town with a tour of the lake in between.

Amongst the entrants were a number of local exhibits, including a 1969 GPO Bantam owned by Martin West of Temple Street, Llandrindod, and a 1973 MG Midget owned by Simon and Luke Pearson of Montpellier Park. The respective owners are pictured with their vehicles together with members of Llandrindod Wells Town Council, which organised the event. Pictured are deputy mayor Steve Deeks-D’Silva and councillors Elaine Worgan, Sian Meredudd and Dave Walton. The annual event was first organised by the late councillor Ken Richards in 2005.

A miniature display of model vintage vehicles was also staged during the week by Mike Bayliss at Coversure in Middleton Street.
