A yellow weather warning has been issued for the majority of Wales and south England for Sunday night and Monday, 15 September.

The warning is for strong and gusty winds which the Met Office say are likely to cause some disruptions.

From 8pm on Sunday to 6pm on Monday, the weather warning will be in place.

The Met Office has said: “An area of low pressure will bring a prolonged spell of windy weather through Sunday evening and into Monday. Gusts of around 50-60 mph are likely around coasts and hills, with 70-80 mph possible in the most exposed locations, with the windiest conditions expected on Monday morning and moving eastwards as the day progresses.”

The warning area covers Brecon, Crickhowell, Llanwrtyd Wells, Ystradgynlais, and may impact Builth Wells and Llandrindod Wells.
