The sights and smells of sumptuous food and drink will dance its way through Brecon town this weekend, with the return of the Brecon Beacons Food Festival.
As one of the oldest and most well-established food festivals in Wales, the event is promised to showcase an incredible blend of the most delicious food and drink exhibitors the local area has to offer.
The Welsh Tasting Table is a new innovation at this years’ event, being held at the Market Hall in the centre of Brecon town on Saturday, October 1.
Indeed, the Welsh Tasting Table is a new innovation across any food festival, although organisers remark that they stand to be corrected on that.
The table is hosted by the brilliant food maestro Shirley Friend, local to Brecon, of catering company Fingers and Forks. Shirley takes products from food and drink producers exhibiting at the food festival, and demonstrates how you can make at-home delicious snacks for all to enjoy.
