A HOLIDAY cottage near Llandrindod Wells has won runner up in the Best Holiday Cottage 2015.

The award, which is voted for by Wales Cottage Holidays Guests, has been running for two years and the Lovers Lodge at the Spring Rock Fishery in Llandegley was this years second place.

The lodge was opened in April 2015 by Andrew Griffiths who said: "While this is only a small internal award, to me it is a mile stone as we have only been open for lettings for a short while. It is a lodge I have built myself on my weekends, evenings and spare time around my full time employment so I am very proud."
