Two talented wakeboarders from Christ College Brecon recently showcased their skills on the international stage, representing Team GB at the IWWF Europe and Africa Boat Wakeboard Championships in Deltebre, Spain.

Christ College pupils, James in Year 10, and Holly in Year 8, both took to the Ebre River at the championships, which ran from Monday, 13 October, to Saturday, 18 October.

The event brought together over 100 riders from 12 countries, including Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Greece, France, Latvia, Belgium, Portugal, Ireland, and Austria.

Competing as part of Team GB, James took to the water in the Junior Men category, while Holly represented the team in the Under 14 Girls category. Impressively, Holly was the youngest member of the GB squad and achieved an outstanding 5th place overall.
