This weekend was a very special one for Cradoc Ladies. The Club Championship which is played over 36 holes was held on Saturday and Sunday. There was a good turn out of the ladies, many trying to win the competition and others to support them. During the first 18 holes the golfers experienced a number of different weather conditions which tested their skills. The second 18 holes were more consistent and on the whole produced better scores.

At the end of the competition lady captain Andy Black announced the winners in the clubhouse.

Congratulations must go to the following ladies:

Kathy Dobbs a popular and worthy winner of the 2020 Crystal for the best 18 Nett with a score of 73.

Also Premlata Gurung a very talented golfer who has only this season joined Cradoc ladies won the Lapthorn Trophy for the best 36 Nett with the score of 149.

Crowned Lady Champion 2024 for the best Gross Score over 36 holes was Steph Jenkins. This is a well deserved win as Steph has been in fine form all season. Over the years Steph has won all the other events and represented Cradoc Ladies in many competitions. It is therefore fitting that she has now added the most prestigious award to her collection. She was presented with the Championship Trophy by Andy Black. Congratulations Steph!
