BRECON FC have extended their winning run in the Watson Financial Mid Wales (South) League with a 5-1 home victory over Builth Wells Reserves.

The victory, their sixth on the bounce, leaves the league newcomers two points behind leaders, Rhayader Town Reserves, with a game in hand.

Elsewhere in the league Brecon Nothcote triumphed 5-3 at Carno Reserves to register their first league win since September.

St Harmon staged a spirited fightback to earn a point in a 2-2 draw at Newcastle.

Presteigne Reserves’ new management team, Duanne Anning and John Bright celebrated a 4-3 success over Hay St Marys Reserves.
