Brecon Corries suffered their first defeat of the season despite having taken a two-goal lead at home.

A Paul Keddle brace put the Rich Field side in a commanding position by the start of the second half but the visitors pegged a goal back, through Alfie Leadbeater, ten minutes after the re-start.

Gareth Tedstone bagged an equaliser on 70 minutes and with just two minutes to play Nathan Cook conjured a third to ensure the visitors would not only taste success on their trip to Brecon but move up to second in the table.

Despite the defeat the Corries are fourth in the table and only four points behind leaders Ynyshir Albion.

Damien Daniels’ men welcome Pencoed AFC, who are only a point behind them and one of five clubs on 10 points in the early season table, to the Rich Field on Saturday for a 2.30pm kick off.
