Llandrindod Wells have been handed a home tie in the first qualifying round of this season’s JD Welsh Cup and will host Ardal League North East rivals, Llangollen Town.

Builth Wells travel to Lex X1, who were promoted to the Ardal North East, while Knighton Town visit Penyffordd Lions, who were sixth in the North East Wales Premier Division last term.

Rhayader Town are at home against Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs, who won the North Wales Coast West first division last season.

The draw is split north and south with Brecon Corries, Hay St Mary’s and Radnor Valley in the southern section of the draw. Corries are at home against Cardiff Bay Warriors while Hay entertain Newport Corries. Radnor are away at Morriston Town.
